electicfan's birthday. In honor of said special day, I choose to out her: Did you know she was the lead singer of Berlin????? Yes! It's TRUE! This is her, in a video directed by cabenson (who came up with great concept and the fabulous salt-on-mini-Eiffel-tower touch):
At the timeelecticfan was much lauded for "playing straight" although she did go on a bender of epic proportions after kissing that ugly dude. Acting! [/jonlovitz]
Finally, in honor of Inauguration Day: I thought about posting a video of U2's "Beautiful Day," but that song always reminds me of John Kerry's campaign, which in turn reminds me that on the day after the election in 2004 I was curled up in a fetal ball on my bed crying, so...no. I decided to go simple, short, and sweet:
Let America be America again.
Let it be the dream it used to be.
Let it be the pioneer on the plain
