Because I'm getting paranoid about the fanlib.com thing: From here on out, all writing entries will be friends only, and I've already locked all previous writing posts (except for a few silly old SVU fics).

Date: 2007-05-17 07:19 pm (UTC)Basically, yeah. Most of what I post here is work-in-progress stuff and hence I'm more protective of it than my finished stories. I can easily see someone taking an unfinished concept or piece and running with it.

I see your point; one of the things I've enjoyed about lj is a feeling of community and exchange(s) with other writers. I don't view taking this step as being counterproductive, though. More than anything, I see it as being cautious, being careful with something that is very important to me.
